As expected, Kenny Omega's guest appearance on this week's Impact Wrestling helped the promotion to considerable increases in overall viewership and in the key 18-49 demographic rating.

Impact came through with a 0.08 rating amongst viewers aged between 18 and 49. This is a 60% increase on the previous week's 0.05 and was enough for the episode to finish 96th amongst cable shows, improving from 121st.

In terms of overall viewership, Impact Wrestling scored another increase, improving from the previous week's 166,000 to hit 221,000 - a jump of 33%.

Interestingly, Impact Wrestling actually ended up outdoing last week's WWE NXT show in the 18-34 demographic, beating the black-and-gold brand 0.05 vs. 0.04.

As we covered yesterday, Omega's Impact appearance sparked a huge increase in the company's Twitch audience. 50,686 peak viewers tuned into the streaming platform to watch the AEW World Champion. This is particularly impressive as the average figure usually sits somewhere around 2,000. Omega's segment with Don Callis has 312,000 YouTube views at the time of writing, with nothing else from the show even coming close.

A solid night of business for Impact on the whole, then. It'll be interesting to see what portion of these new viewers stick around next week.
