Another feather in the six-star man's cap.

Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada walked into NJPW Dominion 6.11 with the unenviable task of bettering the most talked-about wrestling match of 2017. Whether or not they succeeded is subjective, but the duo left nothing in the tank in their rematch, proving themselves inseparable over the course of a breathless 60-minute time limit draw.

As well as earning swathes of deserved critical acclaim for his performance, Omega also took his place among some of the all-time greats on Sunday. At Dominion, he became the 13th man to ever headline shows at Tokyo Dome, Nippon Budokan, Sumo Hall, and Osaka-jo Hall (four of Japan's biggest wrestling venues), and the first to accomplish the feat in 15 years:-

In doing so, Omega as joined a decorated group that includes legendary figures like Antonio Inoki, Stan Hansen, and Keiji Mutoh. After Hansen and Vader, he is just the third gaijin to achieve this.

For Kenny, it's another notable achievement in a year full of them. He'll now attempt to become the first ever IWGP United States Champion when NJPW debuts in the USA this July, though Okada has all but guaranteed a second rematch, stating that Omega "is definitely someone I have to face again."
