Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks Return To AEW TV (Sort Of...)

Thanos and The Elite seemingly collaborate on AEW Dynamite segment.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks returned to AEW television last night without physically appearing on camera, as the promotion aired a short vignette showing The Elite seemingly being Thanos snapped out of existence.

The video aired early on Wednesday's Dynamite show from Norfolk, Virginia. Omega and The Bucks were featured in a stream of highlights covering the full breadth of their AEW run, from the pre-launch press conference to their in-ring successes, with their physical forms drifting into nothing. Similarly, their voices were gradually muted as their bodies vanished.

In an interesting move, the video closed on the AEW logo doing the same thing - albeit without the voice. It's a logo. Logos don't talk, Barry.

This was the most substantial Elite-adjacent offering in AEW since Kenny and The Bucks were suspended for their roles in the post-All Out 2022 brawl. 'Hangman' Adam Page referenced the trio sideways two weeks ago, Tony Schiavone namedropped them seven days later, and last night, they had their own video. Prior to this, they may as well have not existed. The silence was deafening.

On top of all this, Fightful Select reports that along with Don Callis, Omega and The Young Bucks were backstage last night. Whether or not they have actually returned to work is unclear, though talk of this happening has increased lately.
