Centred around a jingoistic build-up in which Mr Anderson would spit in Kurt Angle's face and assault him with dog-tags worn in tribute to US troops, the two would settle their differences in a legendary scrap at Lockdown 2010.

With only escape rules in play, recent TNA arrival Anderson was in control of the key to the door, adding a further layer of drama to the emotional brawl.

Bleeding buckets halfway through the clash, Angle was sublime on defence as Anderson repeatedly used the cage to further open up the Olympian.

Following up with an ugly-looking wrist-tape choke after being busted open himself, Anderson still couldn't subdue Kurt as the two miraculously engaged in a climb up the cage, leading to an incredible German suplex spot from Angle halfway up the structure.

With Anderson beaten, Kurt elected to spectacularly complete the job with a jaw-dropping moonsault from the corner of the steel.

However, Anderson lured Angle back into the ring, almost stealing victory himself before suffering a devastating anklelock and fittingly, getting choked out with the dog-tag to allow Kurt to spit in his face and step over his broken body to victory.

An instant classic, the contest was TNA's 2010 Match of the Year, and one of the very best in company history.
