To decide who would become Superstar of the Year at the Slammy's that year, a tournament was set up between all the nominees. Undertaker would face off against Randy Orton on Raw for the right to face John Cena for the award. With both men outside of the ring at this point thanks to a 'Vintage' Leg Drop off the Ring Apron, Undertaker becomes momentarily distracted by Legacy; Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase.

Referee Charles Robinson begins counting, and as the Undertaker returns to the ringside area, Randy Orton sneaks up with a RKO on the outside, and just manages to squeeze back in the ring before the ten count to secure the Count Out victory. It didn't really matter that Orton won, as he lost to John 'Super' Cena anyway in the main event, and while Randy Orton didn't pin or submit the Undertaker, it still counts as a victory, something that very few men have achieved against the Deadman.
