Last 10 Wrestlers Who Defeated The Undertaker
5. CM Punk – Breaking Point 2009 (Submissions Only)
Officially CM Punk has a submission win over the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship. In realistic terms this was a screw-job. Undertaker had already won the match in their submission only main event with CM Punk tapping out to the Hells Gate. However, General Manager Teddy Long appears a few minutes later to inform everyone that this match will continue as the Hells Gate was banned a long time ago by former GM Vickie Guerrero.
CM Punk manages to apply the Anaconda Vice for less than a second before the referee calls for the bell, despite Undertaker midway through escaping the hold. Both Punk and the referee run for the hills; title in hand, with Undertaker just perplexed by the whole situation. The reason was obvious. The event was held in Montreal, home of the original screw-job between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Undertaker manages to secure some revenge at the following pay per view in a very forgettable Hell in a Cell match, winning the precious World Heavyweight Championship. The rivalry didn't gain traction on this occasion, but thankfully their Wrestlemania clash made up for this mess.
