Latest On AEW Pulling Female Star Off TV

Everything you need to know about Tony Khan's decision to take this woman off AEW TV.

Jamie Hayter Britt Baker Rebel
AEW

The Wrestling Observer reports that AEW star Rebel has been pulled from TV for the time being, and won't appear alongside Britt Baker and/or Jamie Hayter in the interim.

It's believed this is very-much a creative decision - Rebel doesn't have heat behind the scenes, or anything. Tony Khan is strictly looking after Baker and reigning AEW Women's Champ Hayter on telly. They probably don't need a heat-seeker like Rebel in their corner during this current babyface run.

Further, Dave Meltzer isn't sure on exactly when Rebel will return to screens. She might have to wait out this ongoing storyline involving the likes of Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho. There's no word on whether or not AEW will continue to book Rebel on 'B' and 'C' level programming like Rampage, Dark or Dark: Elevation going forwards.

It could be a while before fans see her again, basically.

Rebel has always been portrayed as a key member of Britt's entourage, but Hayter's climb up the AEW ladder has dulled her impact a little. Khan might end up finding something totally different for Rebel to do soon.
