Eddie Guerrero is my favourite wrestler. I first saw Eddie wrestle on some random episode of Thunder in the late 90s, and then again when he came to the WWF in 2000 as a member of The Radicalz. I didn't think too much of him or his Latino Heat schtick back then but as the years went on I grew to appreciate him more and more.

Eddie was just so damn good and, thankfully, got to show the world just how good he was when he came back (following a public spell in rehab and then firing) in 2002. This was a focused, clean and on-point Eddie, and his talent, performances and character work resulted in some of the best matches of his career and a push to the top of the card.

Standing at the top of the card was WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, who was pretty much the opposite of Eddie. The Next Big Thing was a big-money, hand-picked prospect, a goliath of a man who was pretty much born to be a champion. When Eddie earned a shot at Brock's WWE Title, few predicted he'd be walking away the victor, despite his burgeoning popularity.

But that's exactly what happened after thirty minutes of exhausting action that saw Guerrero weather everything that Brock threw his way before chopping him down to his size and finally putting him away with a Frog Splash.

Okay, so he might have had a little help from an interfering Goldberg and an tornado DDT on the WWE Title, but what a moment this was. I can vividly remember marking the f*ck out in my living room at 4am and I'm pretty sure I debuted the rolling verticals during lunch break the next day (definitely didn't happen).

A wonderful, deserved moment and a hell of a good old school style, almost Flair/Vader type of match.
