Having not wrestled for over a year, AEW's Parker Boudreaux debuted for AAA over the weekend.

Boudreaux made a surprise appearance at AAA's 16 March show, attacking Octagon Jr. and Mecha Wolf after Octagon Jr. had retained his AAA Latin American Title against Mecha. Following his shock arrival, the powerhouse told Lucha Libre Online that he's in AAA to show why he's the most versatile young wrestler in the game, referred to himself as the Big Guy, and called the promotion one of his "new homes". That post-match attack was thwarted by El Mesías, who Parker also made mention of.

Parker Boudreaux last wrestled on the 3 March 2023 edition of AEW Rampage, where he and Swerve Strickland lost to Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes. In the time since then, Boudreaux has been dealing with an unknown injury, though he was backstage at an episode of AEW Dynamite this past January.

Many have questioned whether Parker Boudreaux was still with AEW, with reports in November stating that, yes, he was still under contract with the promotion. On that front, a new Ringside News report adds that the 26-year-old is indeed still with AEW despite this AAA appearance.

Given AEW's working relationship with CMLL, it's a little interesting to see a purportedly AEW-contracted talent turning up in CMLL's fierce rival, so there could still be plenty more details to come on all of this.
