Scott Norton Gets Interrogated

The most famous incident from this trip is without a doubt the moment WCW star Scott Norton was interrogated by North Korean officials. During a heated argument over the phone with his wife, Norton called North Korea a "sh#thole". It was at this moment the phone went dead and Norton was taken out of his room by military personnel. The phones in the hotel rooms were tapped and every phone conversation was being heard. After some threats and a warning, Norton would be let go. Norton would later reveal he was sure he was going to be shot dead.
