With AAA TripleMania Regia 2025 now in the books, it's WWE's Los Garza who find themselves as the new AAA Tag Team Champions.

In the co-main event, it was Angel and Berto left standing tall in a four-team match that also featured Psycho Clown and Pagano, Nic and Ryan Nemeth, and the defending champs of the Nueva Generacion Dinamita duo of Forestero and Sanson.

For the finish of the match, the Nemeths dragged the referee out of the ring to stop Pyscho Clown from picking up the win, which in turn led to Psycho Clown and Pagano diving to the outside on the TNA stars, and allowing for Los Garza to hit their double-team finish on Forastero for the 1-2-3.

Post-match, Angel and Berto were handed the AAA Tag Team Titles by AAA President Marisela Pena to a huge pop from the duo's hometown Monterrey crowd.

This marks the first step in what Legada del Fantasma leader Santos Escobar recently described as a three-step plan for the group. As part of that plan, Santos promised to return to AAA and win the promotion's biggest prize, the AAA Mega Championship.

Where that AAA Mega Championship is concerned, El Hijo del Vikingo - who was heavily booed by the Monterrey crowd - retained that title in the Triplemania Regia main event. There, Vikingo defeated Alberto El Patron in a steel cage match that featured a whole bunch of shenanigans, from run-ins to weapons spots, to more run-ins, to more weapons spots, and to one final run-in from Latin Lover, who handcuffed El Patron to the ropes as Vikingo escaped the cage - although, things didn't go entirely to plan when those handcuffs snapped.

Elsewhere at Triplemania Regia, TNA X Division Champion Moose kept hold of his gold in a four-way match against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., El Mesias, and Joe Hendry, with Moose pinning Dr. Wagner Jr. with a spear for the win. In non-televised contests, the buzz-generating Mr. Iguana got the win for his team of Nino Hamburguesa and El Fiscal in a six-man contest against the Tokyo Bad Boys trio of Kento, Nobu San, and Takuma; AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer reatined against Dalys and Lady Shani in a triple-threat offering; La Parka, Laredo Kid, and Octagon Jr. bested Los Vipers; and Charro Negro, Emperador Azteca, and Tigre Universitario Jr. beat Dark Zorro, El Lider, and Oro Negro.

Despite some uncertainty over where audiences would be able to watch AAA Triplemania Regia 2025, the three 'televised' matches are up on the AAA YouTube channel.
