Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

20. Aerostar

Pros: - Next-level springboard and tope ability - Medallion winner - Perhaps the world's most impressive trust-faller Cons: - Owner of wrestling's least specific hometown - Is he an astronaut or an alien? - Struggled against high-level opponents The Man from the Cosmos is an astronaut, maybe, which he illustrates primarily by having a mask that vaguely resembles a space helmet, and also springboarding opponents to death like he ain't even care. The guy doesn't go in for any of the more Byzantine aerial acrobatics favored by his peers. Instead, he just blasts off wayyyy into the ether without looking and somehow always finds his mark. It's incredible. Aerostar was also part of Lucha Underground's most storied rivalries in season one, a best-of-five series with the reptilian wrestler known as Drago. Although Aerostar ultimately came up short in that rivalry, it gave him the time and exposure to establish a foothold with the Temple faithful, and he has been a fan favorite since then. He's battles rudos like Jack Evans and Johnny Mundo with varying degrees of success, but he did capture one of Dario Cueto's seven medallions in the home stretch of season one. He also seems to have made some sort of alliance with former rival Drago. Final Rating: ***3/4
