Lucha Underground's 34 Wrestlers - Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Pentagón, Jr.

Pros: - Possibly the best active heel in pro wrestling - Breaks suckas' arms as part of a karate voodoo sacrifice - Has zero fear. ¡CERO MIEDO! Cons: - Had a fairly weak early season - Surprisingly, has never challenged for the LU championship - Slightly disappointing reveal of his master The story of Pentagón, Jr. in Lucha Underground has been that of a man driven to excellence by cruel purpose. In the early weeks, Pentagón suffered the worst indignities of any luchador not named "Son of Havoc," but soon found terrifying new purpose under the tutelage of an unseen dark master. Since his dark apprenticeship began, Pentagón has been an absolute beast, breaking the arms of five different opponents, enjoying a months-long undefeated streak, and trying to set Vampiro on fire at ringside. He's like Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, and Mortal Kombat's Scorpion rolled into one wonderful, wonderful skeleton ninja. At Ultima Lucha, he added classic hardcore violence to his arsenal of deadly competencies, alongside gnarly submissions, killer strikes, and vicious suplexes. He utterly destroyed Vampiro and broke his arm, with the slightly disappointing reveal that Vampiro had been his master all along. Even so, Pentagón stood revealed as a man who works in violence the way other artists might use oils. He's simply incredible. Final Rating: *****
