Lucha Underground's Ultima Lucha (July 29): Results And Reactions

Results: A group of "believers" make their way to the ring all with belts in hand. The match starts, Drago is the first to the outside, and the believers help him up much to Hernandez chagrin. Hernandez goes to the outside and gets absolutely destroyed by belt lashing. Drago lays into Hernandez with a multitude of strikes. Both men outside again and Hernandez gets hit twice as long. Hernandez works his way back in the match with a huge powerbomb. Hernandez goes for a top rope splash, but Drago counters by bringing up the knees. Everyone in the entire Temple is chanting for Drago, who goes for a rolling pin combination, and only gets 2. 

Drago gets put in the crucifixion and is thrown to the outside onto a group of believers. Hernandez goes for a splash to the outside, but Drago sprays mist all over Hernandez while in mid-air. Hernandez hides under the ring away from the believers. Drago brings out a table and nun-chucks, striking Hernandez multiple times. Drago with a splash on Hernandez through the table, then again in the middle of the ring for the 1-2-3!

Reaction: Surprised this was the main event over the Trios championship, but it had a feel good ending with Drago picking up the much needed win. Seeing Hernandez gets slapped with belts was extremely satisfying, and his reactions were hilarious. Possibly the best camera shot of the night was when Drago sprayed mist on Hernandez while he was in mid-air, shot at the perfect angle. Ending was a little anti-climatic, but Drago won, so who cares?
