Jacy Jayne and Blake Monroe expected to remain in NXT for now.

Despite previous rumblings that NXT's Blake Monroe and Jacy Jayne were being considered for moves to the WWE main roster, it appears that neither talent will be getting called up just yet.

Per Fightful Select and BodySlam.net, both talents were discussed for a move to Raw or SmackDown, but, as of now, a main roster call-up is not expected to happen imminently for either Blake or Jacy. In fact, this BodySlam report adds that new plans are in place for Monroe at NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 42 Weekend, though no specifics are given as to the nature of those plans.

WWE has done some much-needed NXT call-ups in the past few weeks, with Trick Williams and Jordynne Grace now formally members of the SmackDown roster, and Je'Von Evans the latest name to join Raw. On top of that, it's not all that long ago that Lash Legend was moved to the blue brand, whilst we've still also got the ominous presence of Oba Femi looming large over both Raw and SmackDown, as vignettes continue to tease the Ruler's main roster arrival, particularly with Oba having now vacated the NXT Title. Another name in the frame for an official main roster move, too, is Joe Hendry, who's made several SmackDown appearances lately, though any such move to Smackers has yet to be made official as of this writing.

In terms of Blake Monroe and Jacy Jayne, both women are more than ready to get a big call-up, although WWE clearly has to be wary of stripping NXT of too much talent in one hit, with star power still needed on the brand, regardless of how much the main roster may be in need of fresh faces. Considering that WWE often looks to bring up NXT names after WrestleMania, it may be that we'll see the likes of Monroe and Jayne, not to mention fellow standouts such as Ricky Saints and Ethan Page, considered for the jump to Raw or SmackDown once 'Mania 42 is in the rearview mirror.
