AEW's Matt Jackson has confirmed that he has been medically cleared to compete at Full Gear tomorrow evening.

As reported on Thursday, the elder Young Buck has been wrestling through a partially torn MCL and thinning ACL since the 22 July episode of Dynamite, when he and brother Nick faced The Butcher and The Blade in a wild Falls Count Anywhere match. It is believed that Matt was hurt while the Bucks executed tandem dives from the entrance tunnels to the stage.

The original sport stated that Jackson felt confident about still being able to wrestle FTR at Full Gear. He has now reaffirmed that he is good to go:-

This tweet will have been of considerable relief to AEW fans, particularly those who have been waiting to see the Young Bucks and FTR face off for years.

Jackson has already worked eight matches since picking up the injury. His most recent was the Young Bucks' win over Private Party on this week's Dynamite, throughout which Matt sold his leg heavily, playing into FTR's recent Pillmanization of his ankle. Kenny Omega and Hangman Page saved further kayfabe damage from being inflicted after the bout.
