Mick Foley Calls Top WWE Star "Absolutely Brilliant" After Raw
WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley called this current star one of his "favourites".
WWE legend Mick Foley has described Seth Rollins as "absolutely brilliant".
The Hall Of Famer took to Twitter and said the "completely unglued" character played by Seth has become one of his "favourite WWE incarnations in recent years". Foley was reacting to Rollins' in-ring segment on Raw with Cody Rhodes, and was left highly impressed by Seth's mannerisms.
Rollins will face Cody in a WrestleMania 38 rematch at this Sunday's 'Mania Backlash pay-per-view - unlike some others, the pair don't have a stipulation set for their sequel. WWE obviously trusts the pair to go out and have a cracking 15-20 minute wrestling match with no bells or whistles.
Mick likes that idea, because he said that Seth "continues to back up the crazy with state of the art matches" in-ring. Few fans would disagree with that. The sharply-dressed villain knows when to be silly during promos (his laugh does get a little grating for some!) then turn the heat up and get serious during matches.
Foley is a huge fan of what Rollins is doing right now in 2022. He wants to see more of it.
