Could Brock Lesnar be about to make his WWE return on tonight's episode of Raw?

While it's far from confirmed, Mike Johnson over at PWInsider.com is speculating that the Beast Incarnate could well make an appearance on tonight's red brand offering.

Johnson reiterates that this is merely his own thoughts on the matter, but makes the extremely valid point that WWE's next Saudi Arabia show is only a matter of weeks away and how Lesnar has been involved in all seven previous Saudi specials. Add to that, tonight's the Season Premiere of Raw, and WWE historically likes to make major waves with such heavily-promoted episodes of their main roster offerings.

Given how Crown Jewel looms large on the horizon - that event taking place on 5 November from Riyadh - some fans expected Brock to potentially show up at Extreme Rules to get the wheels in motion for something against fellow former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. Of course, that didn't happen, with the return of Bray Wyatt instead being the big talking point from this past weekend's Premium Live Event.

Putting Lesnar vs. Cormier together could still happen, mind. Then again, if, as certain sections of the fanbase predict, Bobby Lashley drops the United States Title to Seth Rollins on tonight's Raw, pitting the All Mighty against Lesnar could also be a very logical option.

Having not been seen since losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 this past April, Brock Lesnar returned in time to lose again against Reigns at SummerSlam in July and has been absent from WWE programming since.
