The only real wrestling pedigree in the main cast comes in the shape of Kia Stevens, otherwise known as former TNA star Awesome Kong, who appeared in WWE as Karma.

It's not a cameo, but she's still a recognisable wrestling persona. Or she was anyway. She plays Tamee - who becomes the Welfare Queen, wrestling as much with offensive stereotypes as in-ring work - as a realisation of her dream to act. She previously told Bleacher Report that "This is what I wanted when I got into wrestling... This is what I got into wrestling to do."

Chavo Guerrero actually confirmed to Rolling Stone that Stevens played a part in helping train the actors:

"...She was great. There were times she’d pull me aside and say [mimics exasperation], "They're talking too much. They need to shut up and learn this." And I’m like, "Yeah, remember, we're not training them to kill each other, we're training them to be safe." And she's like, "Yeah, you're right.""
