New North American Champion Crowned At WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2022

And NEW...

WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 Wes Lee
WWE

With the title vacant going into last night's NXT Halloween Havoc special, Wes Lee is your new North American Champion.

The former MSK man beat out Carmelo Hayes, Nathan Frazer, Oro Mensah and Von Wagner in a ladder match to take home that prize. A double knees to Hayes gave Lee enough time to get up the ladder and grab the North American Title that was hanging above the ring.

Wes Lee was previously set to get a shot at the North American Championship - then held by Carmelo Hayes - on the 13 September episode of NXT. After Hayes and Trick Williams laid out Lee backstage, Solo Sikoa would be Melo's surprise opponent later that night. While the Bloodline member would indeed defeat Hayes to become the new North American Champ, the following week saw Shawn Michaels strip Sikoa of that title due to his victory having come in an unsanctioned match.

- Julius Creed defeated Damon Kemp in an Ambulance Match

- NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose defeated Alba Fyre
