In WWE, Trent Beretta was an enhancement talent who could barely get time on TV. Upon his release from Vince's Elite Meat Fleet, he decided he wasn't gonna be some guy who lived off the "was once in WWE" indie shtick. Wrestling in PWG and Ring of Honor, Beretta (or Trent?, or Greg, whatever he's going by) established himself as a legitimate performer, and he caught the attention of CHAOS stalwart Rocky Romero.

After sporadically appearing for New Japan in 2013, Beretta was brought into the company on a substantial basis in 2015 as Romero's new partner. Teaming as "Roppongi Vice," the two would capture the Jr. Heavyweight Tag titles four times, giving Beretta the biggest success of his career.

Eventually, Trent's ambitions grew beyond the Junior division. With Romero's blessing, he graduated into the heavyweights, and Roppongi Vice split. At Wrestle Kingdom 12, Beretta get his first taste of heavyweight gold as he teamed with Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano to win the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Titles for CHAOS.

Though he's been gone for the last few months with an injury, it's clear the company see something in Beretta. When he returns to New Japan, be on the look out for him to do some impressive things as a heavyweight member of CHAOS.
