The National Wrestling Alliance's Joseph 'Jocephus' Hudson has passed away.

Company owner Billy Corgan posted the following to Instagram a few short hours ago, confirming the news:-

"It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my friend and brother in wrestling, Joseph Hudson, has passed away suddenly from an as-yet undiagnosed medical issue. NWA fans would know him as Jocephus as well as The Question Mark; where thanks to the great fans at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Joseph was able to receive the kind support in the ring he’d always dreamt of. He is survived by a young son whom he loved dearly, and if anything would pain him about leaving this earth it would be not being able to be there for his boy. RIP Joseph, love to you and Godspeed."

The official cause of death is yet to be revealed.

Hudson is best known for his work as The Question Mark on NWA Powerrr. The master of Mongrovian karate was over huge with that studio audience and spent much of his run aligned with the former Damian Sandow, Aron Stevens, who has paid tribute to his former partner:-

Prior to becoming The Question Mark, Jocephus rose to prominence through his NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title feud with Tim Storm in 2017, catching hype for his sinister, gripping promos in the build-up. Jocephus ultimately failed in his quest to win the belt but was able to fell the popular Storm in an empty arena match in January 2018.

January 2019 saw Jocephus lose a hair vs. hair match against Storm and former WCW Champion David Arquette. On top of all this, Hudson played Bruiser Brody in the 2019 Dark Side of the Ring episode centred on the legendary brawler's death.
