Who Was Their Breakout Star?

As the nWo became hotter and hotter, more and more stars attempted to get on the bandwagon in order to ride it to main event success. Having, said that, it would be incredibly difficult to name a break out star that benefited from a tenure in the nWo in the long term. That's the difference between the nWo, and say Evolution who did have rising talent who they made main event stars out of in Batista and Randy Orton. Both became major parts of the WWE legacy over the next few years and are going to be Hall of Famers at the end of their career. The nWo, on the other hand, felt that if their top guys did not have the titles, then there would be no point- leaving the midcard wrestler who joined them hoping for a push being little more than a henchman. Sooner or later the wrestling product needs to move on- making new and better stars for the future. The nWo did not allow this to happen, because they could not see beyond the next PPV and so too many prospective stars either got buried by the nWo by fighting them, or chewed up and spat out by the inside politics of the stable.
