NXT Invades Last Night's WWE SmackDown

The travel chaos afflicting a majority of WWE's superstars over in Saudi Arabia saw the company accelerate their plans for Survivor Series last night, as SmackDown found itself invaded by a huge contingent from NXT.
The Full Sail incursion began when NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler gatecrashed Bayley's SmackDown championship defence, shoving Sasha Banks into a ring post before setting her sights on the champ.
Later in the night, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee cut short a Sami Zayn promo, whilst Tomasso Ciampa battered The Miz in the midst of an episode of Miz TV.
Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox foreshadowed their War Games partnership in defeating Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, shortly after Bianca Belair had attacked Carmella and Dana Brooke behind the curtain.
The biggest treat of all was reserved for the main event, in which NXT Champion Adam Cole met Daniel Bryan in a mouthwatering contest. The champ retained courtesy of the Panama Sunrise and Last Shot.
Just before the cameras stopped rolling in Buffalo, NY, the entire NXT contingent swarmed the ring, headed by their dad Triple H. 'The Game' taunted that his group had fired the first shot ahead of Survivor Series.
