2. A New Women's Champion
NXT General Manager JBL's decision to strip Paige of the Women's Championship was a controversial one to be sure. Citing unfairness to NXT, JBL argued his point until Paige accepted his decision and handed over the title she had held for 273 days. The decision to hold a tournament to crown a new champion, which will culminate with a final round match between Charlotte and Natalya at Takeover, will result in some interesting television over the next month. Featuring both current and future Divas, the tournament will allow a few fresh faces to make an impact in the developmental brand. The Charlotte vs. Natalya final should provide fans with a very physical, smartly wrestled and athletic contest. Most of all, for historical purposes, it will allow one of those women to etch their names in the history books as only the second NXT Women's champion.
