Result: Ciampa gets killed with the Last Chapter, giving the Authors the Tag Title win (14:30).
Rating: This was certainly one of the more conventional #DIY matches in terms of storytelling, but Gargano and Ciampa are always so fantastic at selling the desperation to win, and this was no exception.
The Authors hadn't done much to prove themselves up to this point but they held their own well against their far more skilled opponents, knocking down their speed with sheer brute force.
The result was disappointing (if not particularly unexpected), considering that #DIY really felt like they deserved a much longer and more dominant reign, and the Authors' win didn't feel massively earned.
Still, it seems likely that Gargano and Ciampa will hold the titles again in the near-future, so it's not the end of the world. Now it's just up to the Authors to prove that they're worth this platform. 7/10
