4. NXT Women's Title: Asuka (c) Vs. Nia Jax
Result: Asuka retains the title with a brutal kick to the face (9:12).
Rating: Plenty of NXT fans are down on Nia Jax, but she gave easily her best ring performance to date here, and it certainly helped that she had surprisingly great ring chemistry with the champ. Nia milked the classic David vs. Goliath narrative, in turn getting a fine showcase for her insane strength (especially when she bent Asuka's back over the ring post) and proving a much more effective monster than in her match against Bayley.
It was too short to be a significant bout, but it was a very encouraging performance from Nia nevertheless, and saw Asuka having to employ a more varied series of attacks than usual to cut the giant down. 7/10
