3. NXT Title Steel Cage Match: Samoa Joe (c) Vs. Finn Balor
Result: Joe retains thanks to a devastating second-rope Muscle Buster (16:10).
Rating: Perhaps we're just feeling a little fatigued with the Joe-Balor matches, but this one lacked some of the magic of their previous bouts. It probably didn't help that despite a solid build, there was absolutely zero chance of Balor actually walking out with the title, so it was hard to be invested in it (unlike their prior fights).
Though this one had to settle for merely being a good main event, it did feature some of the better use of a steel cage in recent WWE memory, and of course, that Muscle Buster finish was absolutely terrific. Hopefully Joe's win puts this feud to bed, though, because it'd be far more interesting to see both men working with other wrestlers. And Finn's finally getting called up to the main roster now, right? 7/10
