Having gotten physical at AEW Revolution as part of his legendary father's retirement match, Steven Borden Jr. is now training to become a professional wrestler.

This revelation was made by Darby Allin during an interview Sting's former tag team partner recently conducted with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, with that full interview set to drop on Fightful's YouTube channel later today.

Both Steven and Garrett Borden played notable roles at AEW Revolution, getting a huge reaction as they dressed up as previous versions of the Stinger as part of the Icon's entrance as he and Darby took on the Young Bucks. On that night, Steven was dressed like the nWo Wolfpac Sting, while his brother Garrett was decked out like the classic Surfer Sting. Both siblings would also get involved in the action during the match, each hitting their old man's patented Stinger Splash on the Bucks.

As part of this Fightful interview, Darby Allin revealed that Steven Borden has been staying with Darby and sleeping in a tent in Allin's front yard as he trains to become a wrestler. The two-time AEW TNT Champion noted how Steven had never previously thought about entering the wrestling business, but his involvement at Revolution gave him the urge to begin training for a career between the ropes. Darby spoke to Sting and Steven about training with him, with the Seattle native having a wrestling ring at his house.
