37. 1987 - Tag Team Survivor Series Match

After WrestleMania III played host to perhaps the company's most significant match ever and the best in-ring match of the decade, much of 1987 felt like it sat in the shadow of the Pontiac Silverdome.

That was until Survivor Series, when Vince McMahon's competitive spite resulted in the birth of a brand new pay-per-view and the opportunity to flex on just how stacked his roster was. Particularly in the 10-team elimination match. A unfathomably deep doubles roster made for a mini-epic so good that it spawned a sequel that was almost as good a year later.
