Paige Suspended By WWE
Probably not the best birthday gift she ever received.
Things just got a bit crazier today, as Paige has now also been suspended by WWE for 30 days. On her birthday. On the same day her boyfriend (or ex-boyfriend?) was also suspended for violating the company's Wellness Policy. Wow.
It's her first suspension, so the 24-year-old will only be sitting out for a month, but this does not bode well for her. No one seems to be quite sure what is going on with the absent WWE star. She's only wrestled a handful of times this year, and is said to be out with a nerve injury to her back and shoulders, as well as a possible neck injury.
Recently, Paige posted a video of herself training for her return, but that's obviously now been postponed.
More troubling is the recent rumors that WWE insiders are worried about her future with the company.
While Roman Reigns was busted not long ago over the Wellness Policy, he is seen as a top star in WWE. Del Rio, and now Paige, have largely been pushed to the side over the past year, meaning when (or if) they return, they're likely to see even less of a prominent role than before.
