With Night 1 of WWE WrestleMania 41 now in the books, the answer to where Paul Heyman's loyalties lay was neither CM Punk nor Roman Reigns. Instead, the Wiseman walked out of Allegiant Stadium alongside Seth Rollins.

Going into the Night 1 main event, Heyman was in the corner of Punk, accompanying the Second Ciy Saint as Living Colour were in attendance to play the Chicagoan to the ring. As for the match itself, Paul E's role was fairly minimal... until it wasn't.

In an excellent triple threat - easily the best match of WrestleMania Saturday - all three competitors hit their regular big moves on the others, until all three men were down on the mat. At that moment, nearly 30 minutes into the contest, Heyman decided to grab a steel chair from ringside.

As Paul had the fallen duo of CM Punk and Roman Reigns directly in front of him, the former ECW head honcho slid the chair to Punk. With Punker primed to hit Roman with the weapon, Heyman dropped to his knees behind the Straight Edge Superstar and nailed Punk with a low blow.

From there, Roman Reigns started to smile, thinking that he once again had his Wiseman back as Roman dished out several chair shots to CM Punk. However, as the Tribal Chief was about to attack Seth Rollins with that same steel chair - a moment set up to be another callback to the break-up of the Shield - Heyman then hit Reigns with a low blow.

After attacking Roman Reigns with the chair, Rollins would hit one final stomp to his old Shield brother to score the 1-2-3. Paul Heyman and Seth would stand tall in the centre of the ring, before the two left together and posed in the aisle.

Where things go from here remain to be seen, with Paul Heyman screwing both CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Even though Roman is technically a SmackDown star, that seems unlikely to stop the Head of the Table from going after the Raw brand's Rollins, with Raw also of course the home of Punk.

Either way, Seth Rollins not only walked out of WrestleMania 41 with one of the biggest wins of his career, but with Paul Heyman now at his side.
