Predicting 10 Highest WWE Earners In 2016

8. The Undertaker

The Undertaker is usually one of the WWE’s top paid names, and it’s been that way for a while now. But based on his 2016 schedule, I’m going to make the bold prediction that he’ll feature as low as eighth on the next highest-earners list.

That’s not necessarily because he’s no longer a valuable commodity the company, it’s just a reflection of a more limited schedule—even more limited than the three pay-per-views he worked last year.

Currently it’s looking like one-and-done for Undertaker this year, so much so that he wasn’t even featured on the European tour having initially been advertised for a number of events. And in terms of merchandise sales, how many Undertaker t-shirts do you see in the crowd these days?

Still, despite the lack of dates and wares, the sole match he did participate in just so happened to be at the biggest show of the year. Or rather, the biggest show in all of pro wrestling history. And given the prominence with which he featured in the billing, he’ll likely have gotten a nice slice of the pie for his efforts.

Come the end of the year, it may not quite be the salary he’s used to, but it’ll be a very healthy one nonetheless.
