Predicting 10 Next WWE NXT Call-Ups To Main Roster

5 & 4. Chad Gable And Jason Jordan

Chad Gable is crazy over in front of live NXT crowds. He may actually be too big for his tag team with Jason Jordan, but for now, it€™s working quite well and the pairing will give both guys a chance to continue developing their skills more before breaking out on their own. Gable has the real-life credentials that Vince McMahon likes. He€™s a legit tough guy, and is also very entertaining. There have been plenty of Kurt Angle comparisons tossed his way, and it€™s possible that Gable's career could mimic his trajectory by rising through the ranks in a short amount of time. Jordan has also improved during his run in NXT, and has displayed more of his personality now that he€™s found a partner. Recently, the duo competed in India at a house show, meaning management may be testing to see if they€™re main roster ready. What may make them leapfrog some other NXT talent is that the main roster could use another tag team, especially a babyface one. With the Dudley Boyz failing to reach their former heights, someone else needs to step up. Basically, there€™s The Usos, and then there€™s a fairly big drop off to The Lucha Dragons, and that€™s about it. If American Alpha can transition a fraction of their popularity over when they they are promoted, they'll be just fine.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
