Predicting 10 Next WWE NXT Call-Ups To Main Roster
3. Sami Zayn
If Sami Zayn hadnt suffered a freak injury in May, then he could already be on the WWE main roster, and have a solid spot at WrestleMania this year. But, you just had to go and try to hype up the crowd before your match and hurt your shoulder, didnt ya Sami? Theres really no reason Sami is still in NXT. Maybe WWE wants to be careful and make sure he rehabs his shoulder first, but the man is too good, and hes been in developmental for too long. What the main roster is painfully lacking right now is an underdog wrestler who is on a journey. Of course, Daniel Bryan played that role to perfection, but theres the possibility he may never step foot in a ring owned by Vince McMahon again. Zayn is the best choice to take that spot. Hes a likable guy who can get over with or without a mask in nearly any arena in the world. Perhaps he could show up as a surprise Rumble entrant and put up a good showing, or debut shortly after WrestleMania. Having him on Raw and SmackDown would immediately make the shows more interesting, and finally give the fans someone new to rally around.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
