Predicting 10 WrestleMania 31 Matches Six Months Out

7. Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal II

At WrestleMania XXX, World Wrestling Entertainment presented the first of what it revealed would be an annual occurrence in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. The match featured an eclectic mix of talent, some of which were fiercely talented and deserved to be on the card in some form or fashion while the others were midcard fodder, there simply to be tossed over the top rope and collect a paycheck. Considering the generally lazy nature of WWE Creative, fans should expect to see the writers lean heavily on the gimmick match to fit some of its more relevant stars on the roster without actually doing their job and coming up with something, you know, creative for them to do. The groundwork for a compelling match is there. Involving both Cesaro and Big Show for the second consecutive year would create a scenario in which they could build upon last year's finish to really deliver a fun, compelling story throughout in which Show returns the favor and dumps Cesaro, learning from his mistakes in 2014. With Goldust, Stardust, The Miz, R-Truth, Damien Sandow, Adam Rose and Heath Slater just a few of the Superstars who could conceivably appear in the bout, the potential for an interesting match that exceeds the expectations of a typical Battle Royal is there.
