8. Extreme Rules - Roman Reigns (C) Vs. Dean Ambrose - Last Man Standing
The slow-burning heel turn has been going for a while with Dean Ambrose, and at some point, WWE have to pay off on it. The difficulty is, how do they avoid fans cheering a heel Ambrose and booing a face Reigns? Well, like the 'Mania 32 main event, they may just think 'whatever'. It is increasingly obvious that WWE are intent on keeping sticking to the script, regardless of reactions. For Extreme Rules, Ambrose would demand another title shot as Reigns hadn't pinned him. The Authority would then give it to him, but with the stipulation that it will be a Last Man Standing bout. The story would be that The Authority are trying to drive the "brothers" apart by forcing them to hurt each other in the most violent match possible. During the PPV main event, Ambrose would embrace his heel side. He'd cheap shot Roman and brutalise him. The finish would be a draw, following Reigns spearing Ambrose off the stage. Neither man would be able to make the ten count, their bodies and their friendship lying in ruins.
