Predicting Every 2016 WWE PPV Main Event After WrestleMania 32
9. Payback - Roman Reigns (C) Vs. Triple H Vs. Dean Ambrose
With Reigns winning the title at WrestleMania, Triple H is going to be entitled to a rematch at Payback on May 1. But imagine if Dean Ambrose defeated Brock Lesnar in the co-main event at WrestleMania. That's going to give The Lunatic Fringe a valid case to get the next WWE Title shot. With that in mind, there's a good chance the Payback main event will be a triple threat. Nobody really wants to see Hunter and Reigns for a second time, but throw Ambrose in there and it becomes a far more intriguing prospect. It combines Roadblock's Triple H versus Ambrose match with Mania's Triple H versus Reigns match. It makes sense and, best of all, with those three high calibre of workers all in one match, it is pretty much guaranteed to be excellent. Reigns does (of course) get the victory, pinning Triple H for the second consecutive show. Ambrose can then tease turning heel in the aftermath, only to walk away and allow Reigns the opportunity to celebrate his latest triumph.
