2. NXT Champion - Shinsuke Nakamura
I just can't see Finn Balor being an NXT Superstar by the time WrestleMania 33 season commences.
Even though the main event picture in developmental would look pretty sparse if he was to depart - he has carried the brand for a long, long time now - his ambitions lay on the main roster and, since he's broken the record for the longest-reigning NXT Champion, there's just not a lot left for him to do.
So looking at the current crop of stars - it would be too soon for a new star to debut and win the big one before 'Mania weekend next year - there aren't too many options as far as whom Finn could to drop the title to.
Certainly none that would be more popular than Shinsuke Nakamura.
Given that Nakamura has signed a three year deal with WWE, you would have to believe that he won't be in NXT for too long.
How does a short title reign - something that everybody wants to see - followed by a post-WrestleMania RAW promotion sound? I like it, I do...
