Predicting How And When Every Injured WWE Star Will Return

5. Lars Sullivan

Few Superstars made as major of an impact in their debut only to vanish into thin air quite like Lars Sullivan did in 2019.

Despite being set to show up on the first Raw of the year, an anxiety attack reportedly delayed his debut. It was months before he finally resurfaced on the post-WrestleMania Raw laying waste to Kurt Angle.

Sullivan ran rampant on the roster for months and was on the fast track to super stardom before a knee injury put him on the shelf indefinitely. An update in a December edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested that he was only halfway through his recovery, despite a video on his (now private) Instagram page showing him working out at the gym and sparking speculation that an in-ring return was imminent.

If true, that's terrible news for the former NXT upstart, who officials evidently had big plans for prior to his injury. There's no reason to believe he won't pick up where he left off when he gets back, but any momentum he had last year is completely gone.

Staying put on SmackDown would be his best bet, and a feud with fellow monster Braun Strowman or the beloved Daniel Bryan would make the most sense.

SummerSlam season may be the earliest we can expect to see Sullivan wrecking havoc in WWE again.
