Predicting How And When Every Injured WWE Star Will Return

It's difficult to justify The Riott Squad's bad booking on the main roster, which saw them lose far more matches than they won.

The trio of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan was split up in the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up before they could get a run with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, leaving all three women to flounder on their own.

Following losses to Becky Lynch and Dana Brooke on Raw and Main Event respectively, Riott underwent successful shoulder surgery to fix a bilateral injury in May and has been sitting on the sidelines ever since. She was spotted training at the Performance Center with Rachel Evers earlier this week, but per PWInsider, she isn't slated to return until later this year.

With all three members of The Riott Squad back on the Raw roster, it's possible we see them reunite, so long as Liv Morgan isn't busy stalking Lana. Other than that, she'd be better off returning to SmackDown where she'd have a fresh batch of opponents to work with and more of a chance to re-enter the title picture.

It's high time WWE actually utilized Riott and stopped sleeping on her abilities. This layoff could prove to be a blessing in disguise for her if the company realizes what they've been missing out on with her this whole time.
