Predicting How And When Every Injured WWE Star Will Return

3. Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy couldn't have gotten hurt at a worse time.

Less than a month removed from winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with his brother Matt, it was announced that he had injured his knee and that he'd be out of action for the remainder of 2019, cutting their reign cut at 21 days without a single title defense.

To make matters worse, Hardy was arrested on a DWI charge in early October, with the latest update in November being that even if his knee is healed, he won't be brought back to TV until he addresses his personal issues.

There's no telling how long that will be, and it'd be silly for him to rush his recovery in order to return in the Royal Rumble or in time for WrestleMania. Then again, with Matt's contract set to expire in early March, WWE may want to reunite the multi-time tag team champs as soon as possible to prevent him from leaving and going elsewhere.

Realistically, however, a healthy Hardy is what fans want to see, whether's back with his brother or flying solo. Assuming Matt sticks around, another Hardy Boyz reunion (and possible feuds with The New Day and The Usos) is most likely.
