If you went back even a month, few would've predicted that Bobby Lashley would be involved in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 37 - let alone be the one walking into the Showcase of the Immortals with the WWE Title around his waist.

While many were clamouring for the All Mighty to finally make it to the top of the WWE mountain, the safe money seemed to be on Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against Sheamus at this year's 'Mania. If not a singles bout, maybe Keith Lee gets thrown into the mix to make it a triple threat. Or possibly somehow Brock Lesnar returns in time to be the one facing the Scottish Warrior.

Instead, we've got Bobby Lashley as the defending WWE Champion - which still feels great to type - defending the gold against a McIntyre who's looking to become a three-time World Champ.
