Predicting The Next 10 AEW Stars To Jump Ship To WWE
9. Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe and Triple H have a close relationship, which is well known at this point. One only has to look to the way Joe was immediately rehired by Triple H in 2020 after Vince McMahon fired the ‘Samoan Submission Machine’ out of nowhere as a part of the bulk pandemic ‘budget cuts’.
Now that Joe is under contract with Tony Khan’s revitalised Ring of Honor promotion, ‘The Game’ will only be hungrier to get Joe back again. Despite the fact that Triple H will have to wait to get his hands on the ROH Television Champion, it is only a matter of time before the chants of “Joe is gonna kill you!” ring out from a WWE crowd.
While his services in the ring are still and always will be a hot property, his abilities outside of the ring should be highly appreciated as well. The Orange County native can not only wrestle circles around most of the world, but he can also commentate, train and most likely produce better than most as well. This is all due to the ‘Samoan Destroyer’s impeccable knowledge of wrestling and brilliant business mind. Joe is a smart man, the former three-time NXT Champion knows that WWE is the better path for him in the long run, especially now that Vince isn’t steering the ship.
