Predicting The Next 10 AEW Stars To Jump Ship To WWE
7. Paige VanZant
Paige VanZant has some serious money-making potential. The mixed martial artist-turned bareknuckle boxer has both the legitimacy and the IT factor that could make her seem a credible threat to any wrestling women’s division in the world. AEW recognised this pretty early on after her guest appearances on Dynamite as a part of the Inner Circle vs. American Top Team feud and signed her up to a contract.
However, money talks. Quite simply, WWE has both more money and a bigger platform to offer the woman who is aptly nicknamed ‘12 Gauge’. Plus, WWE is no stranger to signing former MMA competitors, as they have always had a fascination with the UFC and quite enjoy turning legit fighting stars into credible wrestlers. One has to only look at their track record with the likes of Ken Shamrock, Shayna Baszler and, most famously, Ronda Rousey all achieving success within the squared circle under WWE’s banner.
PVZ has the looks, she has the charisma and with a bit of training she’ll have plenty of ability to boot, it won’t be long before WWE comes calling.
