Predicting The Next 10 First Time Universal Champions
5. Bray Wyatt
At this point, it may sound ridiculous... but it's going to happen, eventually. It has to.
Bray Wyatt is a former WWE Champion and, quite frankly, one of WWE's biggest missed opportunities. Time after time, the company dropped the ball with Wyatt, having him spend ages intricately plotting his rivals' downfalls only to lose in the eventual match. He just couldn't get the job done and, by the time his well-overdue WWE Championship reign rolled around, he had grown stale and few actually cared about his feud with Randy Orton.
Somehow, his bizarre face turn and run with Matt Hardy managed to generate some interest in his character again. The Deleters of Worlds' Raw Tag Team Championship win finally made it seem like Bray could follow through on his threats and it introduced us to a fun new side to his character. With Hardy out of the picture now and Bray currently off TV, WWE has a real chance to repair a lot of the damage they have done. After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
If the creative team can capitalise on this and bring him back as a force to be reckoned with, he should be able to climb that ladder back to the top. His charisma helped him get there before, and it will do so once more. Prepare yourselves for a Wyatt renaissance.
