Predicting The Next 10 WWE Hall Of Fame Headliners
8. Evolution (2025)
In the last few years, WWE showed us what its plan is to prevent running out of credible Hall of Fame headline acts: teams and stables.
Up until 2018, there was only one two-time WWE HOF inductee in Ric Flair. Since then, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman and Booker T have earned themselves a second ring, and all did so as part of a group. Since this strategy allows WWE to recycle the star power of former inductees and fill in the blank when there’s no individual star available, expect it to become a recurring theme in the years to come.
Evolution is undoubtedly lesser than the sum of its parts. Aside from maybe Triple H, no member had anything resembling the best years of their career during the faction’s run. In itself, does Evolution as a group deserve to headline a Hall of Fame ceremony ? That’s debatable. But what’s not, is that Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton and Ric Flair sharing stories and anecdotes for half an hour sells tickets. With the controversy surrounding the latter somewhat abated, he is getting slowly brought back to the WWE fold, and nothing prevents this induction anymore.
As one of, if not the, best of all time, Ric Flair wouldn’t be undeserving of a third HOF ring. In the case of Hunter, that’d be more controversial, to say the least.
