Predicting Where All Current WWE Champions Will Be In 12 Months
6. RAW Tag Team Champions - Seth Rollins And Dean Ambrose
Although this Shield semi-reunion has been well managed by WWE creative, it was only born out of having nothing for Seth Rollins nor Dean Ambrose to do as singles competitors.
These two former WWE champions will not be tagging together this time next year, and their reconciliation will end one of three ways: a full Shield reunion, a heel turn, or both.
An Ambrose heel turn, finally exacting revenge for the 'Architect's 2014 betrayal, would make for interesting viewing, but there is more mileage in Rollins returning to the dark side.
His face run, aside from a hot streak leading up to his WrestleMania 33 match with Triple H, has fallen rather flat and WWE knows it can have a top level heel on its hands with the flick of a switch. Whether heel or face, they don’t see Ambrose as a main event star.
After another Shield break up and the follow-up feud between the pair, Ambrose will have a comfortable spot in RAW's upper mid-card, while Rollins will be drafted to SmackDown to become one of the top heels on Team Blue, and challenge for the WWE Championship.
