Predicting Where All Current WWE Champions Will Be In 12 Months

5. SmackDown Women’s Champion - Natalya

Natalya is another example of how a wrestler’s position can change quickly in WWE.

On a roster which includes Charlotte and Becky Lynch among others, few expected the girl who had the fart gimmick to leave SummerSlam as SmackDown Women’s Champion.

This randomly-timed title run for the 'Queen of Harts' could be a final hurrah before she hangs up her boots. At nine years, her main roster run has already gone longer than most female performers. For example, Trish Stratus had seven years with WWE, and Lita only six.

The 35-year-old may have decided that she is ready to take a step back from in-ring action and join her husband Tyson Kidd, who can no long wrestle due to injury, in a backstage role.

She will still be starring on Total Divas, but Natalya’s upcoming title feud with Charlotte, which she has highlighted as her "ultimate dream", will be used as her retirement angle.
