Predicting WrestleMania 35 Matches (One Year Out)

5. Batista Vs. Triple H

Spare a thought for poor old Batista. Not only was Drax the Destroyer turned to ash in Avengers: Infinity War, but WWE have apparently stopped returning his calls too. 'The Animal' recently revealed that while he had been in talks with the company about a potential WrestleMania comeback, they cut him off, leaving him in wrestling limbo.

If WWE have given him the cold shoulder, it won't be for long. Batista's movie career means he's now a star far above what he was during his last run. He's not The Rock, but him coming back would draw eyes to WrestleMania 35, and there's no way Vince McMahon leaves that money on the table.

Batista says he wants to finish his wrestling career on a high. He has specifically mentioned Triple H as an opponent, which would work nicely. They have years of history as allies and rivals, and while Dave and Hunter would be 50 and 49 years old respectively, Triple H's WrestleMania 34 and Greatest Royal Rumble bouts show he still knows how to lay out a great match. Smart, safe, and savvy, he's the ideal opponent for Batista's grand goodbye.
